Picked the first Peas, a few days early, but we have company. Picked lettuce leaves, not ready to take heads yet. The Peas were started in the ground, the lettuce in the greenhouse. It will be another few weeks for the beets. Everything else is doing fine. The whole garden is in, now just needs watering in the dry stretches.
Replaced a stretch of the bunny proof fence, I cheaped out when I first put it up a few years ago, it was cheap. I used a better grade of chicken wire, so no big deal, about $.50/ft. I now have to stow the tools and supplies, sweep up, water and make it look less like a construction site, not that there is anything wrong with that.
